Cobra Guardian™ - Security

Cobra Guardian™ is the absolute best tool for achieving a high level of security on a network. It allows us to monitor and respond to any security threats that might have gained access to the network. Adder Consulting is capable of monitoring all SNMP enabled devices that are attached to the network and also track new devices added to the network. We can also track and hardware or software changes on the network and take action or alert the onsite administrator to these changes.

The Cobra Guardian™ Agents installed on the computers/servers are extremely secure. All communication is highly encrypted, using 256 Bit Encrypted RC4 w/SHA-1 rolling session keys (rolls at least once per day), and the Agents will not respond or communicate with any other software, leaving it completely useless to hackers or viruses.

24/7/365 Monitoring
The main benefit is the greatly reduced number of service calls, downtime, and problems with your system. Because Cobra Guardian™ continuously monitors and maintains the computer/server system, it alerts us of any problems instantly allowing us to fix the problem before you notice any issues or the experience of a computer crash/failure.

Laptop Security and Theft
Laptops are generally more demanding due to the ‘abuse’ they are exposed to. Security is also a huge issue since laptops are much more susceptible to theft. We have all heard about stolen laptops and the sensitive information stored on them? With Cobra Guardian™, believe it or not, your computer is more secure.

First of all, if a laptop is stolen and we are notified about it, we can put in place a script that deletes all sensitive information off the laptop, and this script will be executed instantly when the laptop connects to the internet. Second, once the laptop connects to the internet, we will know the physical address it is connecting from, and we can notify the state police and FBI about the thieves’ exact location.

One real life example where this actually happened, the thieves were arrested at a Las Vegas hotel after stealing a laptop with the system installed on it.
